Our story

The Ardennes adventure began 40 years ago: Pol and Ermine, a young Flemish couple, moved to the Ardennes, where Pol found a job as a forest ranger on a private estate near La Roche-en-Ardenne. We both love nature, especially forests, as a source of fulfillment.

We greatly enjoyed our time in the Ardennes. After about ten years, we swapped the Ardennes forests for the Flemish forests. But in 2016, we returned to the region where it all began. At the end of 2023, we purchased an old farmhouse with a guesthouse: Au Logis de Cadichon. Ermine works as a receptionist in a hotel, and Pol has recently retired. Together, we hope to welcome nature lovers and offer advice on beautiful walks and excursions.

We have chickens, 3 goats, and 2 donkeys: Margot and CADICHON, the mascot of our guesthouse.
